A train is missing or looks out of date

Check the travel date and the last live update. A published schedule does not mean live tracking is available. Dates beyond the available schedule range cannot be answered yet.

A connection will not load

Use https://railwatch.app/api/mcp with no authentication. Confirm your assistant supports custom remote connections and your workspace allows them. After a request limit, wait for the retry time before trying again.

Tickets and service changes

For reservations, refunds, accessibility arrangements, or boarding help, use Amtrak customer support. Railwatch cannot change a booking.
